Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering and architectural concepts and manufacturing facility design, translating technical jargon into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for a variety of stakeholders.
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for compiling the technical details of multiple projects involving the manufacturing of solid rocket motors and the facilities to support those operations. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and designers to document and communicate design decisions and process descriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including process diagrams, design standards, project reports, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Create and manage documentation workflows within MS Office and Confluence, ensuring consistency and accessibility across teams.
- Translate complex technical information into accessible language for diverse audiences, including customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Organize and maintain a centralized repository of documentation, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily retrievable.
- Assist in the development of process documentation and presentations.
- Support proposals and project deliverables with high-quality written content that aligns with company standards.
