Location: Socorro, NM (onsite)

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Chemical Handling Tech to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Handle/transport chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manner
- Works within a cross-functional team to achieve safe and on-schedule energetic material production
- Works in a chemical process environment the includes constituent storage, material processing and waste streams
- Supports process development and production operations
- Performs cleaning operations on critical parts and assemblies per procedures
- Detail oriented, with commitment to performing work in a consistent and exacting manner
- Maintain process records and contribute to improving procedures
- Assist with all levels of inventory tracking
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Certificate or associate's degree in chemical technology or a related field like chemical process engineering
- Laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with chemicals
- Must have demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials
- Computer literacy related to internal communication, documentation and various workflows
- Must be a US Persons as defined by § 120.62 of the ITAR
