Great opportunity for Physical Therapists
Conveniently located 15 minutes from Cumberland, MD. We are a private outpatient facility which offers physical and occupational therapy, in addition to hand therapy and lymphedema management. Our facility offers one-on-one patient care. Benefits and vacation pay available. New grads are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing further injury
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology related to physical therapy
- Experience working in outpatient private practice clinic preferred but not required. New Grads are welcome to apply!
- Strong patient care skills, including empathy, active listening, and effective communication
- Knowledge of manual therapy for pain management
- Solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid WV state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
