Company Description
X's Safety team is responsible for helping our users successfully and safely use our platform. This includes investigating issues that may cause harm to our users or pose risk to X, such as combating the use of our platform by violent and hateful entities and limiting the spread of terrorist and other extremist content.
You will :
- Resolve cases / tickets in the queuing system to assist in better identifying and mitigating content moderation issues.
- Proactively seek out violative content to remove from the platform.
- Escalation and critical incident managementthe successful candidate will own the end-to-end process to successfully resolve the most challenging escalations; the successful candidate will collaborate with internal customers, cross-functional stakeholders, and external users to quickly assess the impact of an escalation and then define and implement clear steps to resolution using a broad array of remediation measures. The successful candidate displays good judgement, is conscious of geopolitical and cultural context in problem resolution, and ensures stakeholders are properly consulted and informed.
- Qualifications & Requirements :
- 1 years of relevant experience in content moderation.
- Passionate about counterterrorism and counter-extremism with knowledge of geopolitical affairs.
- An active X user.
- Experience in providing analyses or recommendations that inform policy development and / or strategic decision making based on operations.
- Ability to execute routine daily tasks efficiently and accurately, to meet productivity and quality requirements.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work weekends
