Job Description

X-energy is seeking professionals to join our Plant Training team in the role of Lead, Extended Reality. This role will focus on the NeXis AR/VR/XR program.
This role is responsible for providing management support and technical oversight support to the team of specialists developing, testing, and managing the lifecycle of augmented, virtual, and mixed reality software and hardware. This role supports the management of a team of specialists of various disciplines that direct the technical requirements and development of high-quality XR solutions and drives innovation within the XR program.

Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for XR initiatives within the organization.
• Lead stakeholder meetings to solicit feedback and ensure stakeholder satisfaction with products.
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure product and project alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee entire product lifecycle through multiple individual and interconnected projects, from conception to delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of XR solutions.
• Manage and mentor the XR team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the program.
• Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Typically, seven years of experience, and/or three years of related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex product development lifecycles and teams.
• Experience with Agile or SCRUM project work is preferred.

Location: 5303 Spectrum Drive, Suite K, Frederick, MD
Work Site Expectations: 5 days a week in office

Travel Expectations: up to 10% as project requires

Hours: standard office schedule are 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:

$73,425 to $122,375
