X-energy is looking for qualified professionals to interview for the SmartPlant Foundation and SDx Administrator role. This position’s primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and administer the SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) and SDx application.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the SmartPlant team and establish technical solutions to assist with maintenance and support of the SPF/SDX application, environments, and servers.
• Interact with the SmartPlant SPF/SDx Implementation Manager (IM) as well as other SmartPlant IM’s and Administrators (SPI/SPEL/SP3D/SPPID/SRD) to identify, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise between the applications in an integrated environment. If required, coordinate with Hexagon to work within the X-energy environment to implement solutions or resolve problems.
• Perform application administrator duties.
• Create and manage SPF/SDx User Accounts.
• Work to support SmartPlant team member requests pertaining to authoring tool data associated with management within SPF/SDx.
• Monitor server performance and implement approved recommendations.
• Ensure server administration tools and maintenance activities are functioning properly and modify as necessary.
• Perform reporting duties as required to the SmartPlant SPF/SDx and SmartPlant Team lead.
• Identify and implement administrative tools to improve monitoring and maintenance duties.
• Assist X-energy IT team to perform server upgrades (SPF/SDx) Core releases, Site releases, Oracle required upgrades, configuration changes, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Education/Qualifications:
• 10 years plus experience in SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) and proven experience in SDx.
• Experience in applying the SPF/SDx Portal Development and Administration skills on major capital projects.
• Experience preferred in .NET Programming, ASP, C#, XML, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Databases, SSRS Reporting tools, IIS
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of other Hexagon authoring tools such as SPPID, SPI, SPEL, SP3D is preferred.
