Technical Generalist

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a detail-oriented, adept learner with prior technical experience to support several functions within the organization. Technical Generalists leverage their breadth of knowledge, attention to detail, and adaptability to assist Engineering and other X-ES teams by contributing to a wide variety of technical and administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support other teams by taking ownership of select processes and performing a variety of recurring and one-off tasks. Key responsibilities include one or more of the following functions:

• Assist engineers in facilitating implementation of engineering design changes, creating bills-of-materials, and maintaining product configurations.
• Create customer-facing documentation such as product change notifications, materials content declarations and reliability reports.
• Audit product configurations to assess for manufacturing readiness. Help ensure that potential issues are communicated and resolved.
• Assist project managers in updating project plans, maintaining tickets, and coordinating technical reviews on select efforts.
• Assist in quality efforts by auditing processes and their outputs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and devising possible solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related technical field.
• Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
• Highly self-motivated in order to drive projects forward, with strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on technical experience gained from educational coursework, military service, or previous work experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in one or more of the functions listed above is desired, but not required. Paid training is provided for qualified individuals.
• Computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail.
• Prior experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
