JOB TITLE: Facilities Manager
Functions / Duties:
The Facilities Manager interfaces and works closely with all department heads and their teams, in order to share information related to the Facility organization and its operations. He/She sets performance standards, manages direct reports and addresses issues which impact the daily operation of the X-FAB facility. This includes but is not limited to: the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery, HVAC, chillers, CDA, building lighting and other control systems, support equipment, grounds keeping, security, janitorial services, safety programs, OSHA compliance and overall facility appearance and employee comfort. He/She plans, budgets, schedules and inspects facility modifications.This position sets, monitors and manages Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and drive continuous improvement objectives. In addition, the Facilities Manager also works with management to develop strategies which drive infrastructure projects, improvements, facility additions, and site expansions.
Responsibilities:
- Interfaces and provides Management Representative as it relates to Facilities and EHS Systems with customers, certification bodies, corporate/global team and local management team.
- Provides customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Provides cost estimates to customers.
- Ensures compliance to IATF standards including but not limited to X-FAB continual improvement, compliance gap identification and demonstration of this compliance to certification bodies and customers.
- Develops and coordinates internal activities in support of facility maintenance and improvement initiatives.
- Works with Product, Process and Equipment Management and Engineers, customers, suppliers and other internal and external organizations to insure accomplishment of job requirements.
- Management responsibilities including training needs, performance evaluation, continuous communication, metric tracking, and accountability standards.
Current Skills/Competencies:
- Fundamental Facilities and Maintenance core skills and expertise
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA) to identify system issues which have a direct impact on the semiconductor manufacturing process.

- Must be able to lead team activities including problem solving among engineering and management
- Ability to make decisions that balance quality, cost and delivery ultimately impacting customer satisfaction
- Ability to solve problems in a team environment
- Supervisor/Manager experience preferred
- Knowledge of semiconductor process manufacturing preferred
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- Master's Degree in a related and/or technical field
- Facilities/Plant Management experience preferred
