Responsibilities
Configure and manage the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to support business development initiatives.
Analyze and enhance data from CRM systems using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to create actionable insights and reports.
Gather and evaluate business intelligence using industry datasets (GovWin, GovTribe, Sam.Gov, USASpending).
Develop opportunity assessments, including quad charts and presentations, to support internal decision-making and gate reviews.
Facilitate the preparation of kickoff slides, capture plans, proposal response schedules, and annotated outlines.
Maintain data integrity across business development tools, ensuring accurate updates from external datasets.
Support competitive intelligence, price-to-win strategies, and corporate reporting for executive stakeholders.
Apply government contracting principles, including the Shipley Method, to drive business development processes. Qualifications
Education : BA / BS degree in a relevant field.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years in data collection, visualization, and reporting.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NextStage.ai).
Expertise in data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with industry datasets like GovWin, GovTribe, Sam.Gov, and USASpending.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of government contracting and the Shipley Method.
Travel : Willingness to travel to Alexandria, VA, for occasional in-person meetings. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a government contracting business development team.
Familiarity with NextStage.ai CRM.
Knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense market.
Formal Shipley Method training.
