Responsibilities
Proactive Problem-Solving : Identify organizational and project needs, propose and implement solutions for both routine and unique situations, and apply strong interpersonal skills to address conflicts and maintain positive relationships.
Task Oversight : Manage all Staff Actions Control Officer (SACO) tasks from initiation to completion, tracking progress and maintaining configuration control to align efforts with PdM priorities.
Knowledge Management : Develop and maintain processes and repositories that foster effective collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members and across program offices.
Liaison Duties : Coordinate with key leadership groups—including Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) and Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management (DASM)—to ensure alignment of strategic messaging and situational awareness.
Executive Support : Assist the PdM with special projects, complex documentation, Integrated Master Schedules, Monthly Acquisition Reports, and presentations; also manage information gathering and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Point of Contact : Serve as the PdM’s main liaison for all internal and external matters, including high-stakes or classified issues.
Policy Implementation : Analyze and prioritize actions consistent with organizational policies, tracking them through to completion and maintaining clear communication with senior leadership and staff.
Office Management : Evaluate and recommend improvements to office policies and procedures; anticipate future organizational needs to ensure efficient workflow.
Technical Competencies : Utilize Microsoft-based applications for scheduling, documentation, and data management.
Additional Duties : Perform other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 years of relevant experience (or a master’s degree with at least 10 years), preferably in a technical or professional discipline within federal or industry sectors.
Security Clearance : Active, transferable Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance (or higher) with current investigation status; must be maintained for the duration of employment.
Citizenship : U.S. citizenship required to meet DoD security clearance eligibility.
Collaboration : Demonstrated experience thriving in a team-oriented environment.
Onsite Availability : Ability to work on location, Monday through Friday, for eight-hour shifts.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) or other classified projects.
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Active or transferable Top Secret / SCI clearance with current investigation.
