Position Overview:

As a Bartender/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have everything they need to enjoy their time at our venue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a friendly and outgoing demeanor. This position starts at $12/hr plus tips.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide assistance as needed.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that special requests and dietary restrictions are accommodated.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any concerns or requests to ensure a positive dining experience.

2. Food & Drink Service:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer preferences and establishment standards.
• Prepare/cook and serve menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock or replenish bar/kitchen inventory and supplies.
• Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor tables and promptly clear dishes and glassware to maintain a clean and organized dining area.

3. Product Knowledge:

• Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage options, specials, and promotions.
• Make recommendations to guests based on their preferences and provide information about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming events, promotions, and golf simulator activities to enhance the guest experience.

4. Upselling and Revenue Generation:

• Promote additional menu items, beverages, and upgrades to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Proactively suggest add-ons such as appetizers, desserts, and specialty cocktails to maximize revenue.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase guest satisfaction and drive sales.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns that may arise during service.
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment by contributing to a culture of teamwork and cooperation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant/sports bar or similar environment.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 30 pounds) for extended periods of time.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
