Diesel Mechanic | Up to $70,000 Annual Salary | Quarterly Bonus
Job Description:
- Replace brake shoes/pads, replace leaking wheel seals, suspensions.
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Use hand tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, or jacks and hoists.
- Must be able to look up issues on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and accurately correct issues to DOT standards.
- Knowledge of air brake systems.
- Rewire lighting systems.
- Diagnose and repair faulty ABS systems.
- Perform Annual DOT inspections.
- Work on rolling tarping systems. Including replaced tarp panels.
