We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Project Manager to join one of our clients in New Jersey on a contract basis paying $70-80 per hour dependent on experience. This role requires a skilled professional with a background in chemical process engineering and field experience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a team.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Proven experience working in a small start-up environment, with a focus on process engineering and project execution
• Strong field and on-site experience, including hands-on involvement in project delivery
• Familiarity with electrical design, equipment purchasing, and documentation processes

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute small capital projects from planning through commissioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement equipment, electrical, and piping systems
• Oversee the purchase of equipment, ensuring timely procurement and delivery
• Apply your knowledge of heat exchangers, pumps, and piping systems to ensure proper system integration and performance
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, delivering projects on schedule and within financial constraints.
