We are working with a leading energy trading firm seeking a Trading Analyst to join their team in Austin, Texas . This role will support business development and origination , focusing on hedging strategies, pricing optimization, and market analysis . The successful candidate will develop models, enhance CRM tools, and provide data-driven insights to support client acquisition and deal structuring.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and refine models for hedging, pricing, and market forecasting .
- Conduct fundamental analysis on US power markets, with a focus on ERCOT.
- Provide analytical support for client pitches, contract negotiations, and sales strategy .
- Assist in developing CRM tools and tracking client progress.
Key Requirements :
Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid – at least 2 days in-office)
Compensation : $150,000-$175,000 20-25% flexible work
