Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines (FDA, GCP, ICH, HIPAA).
- Evaluate patient eligibility, conduct medical assessments, and interpret laboratory and safety results.
- Collaborate with research teams, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to ensure study integrity.
- Maintain oversight of study participants, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the trial.
- Represent the site in sponsor meetings, FDA visits, and research collaborations.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with active medical license in North Carolina
- Board certification in Neurology (Gerontology also considered)
- Strong clinical expertise with an interest in research (no prior research experience required)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
