Medical Device Company:
Whist this team is more established in the EU, their US growth is relatively new and therefore the team are looking for salespeople that are hungry and dedicated to generating brand new business. The company has been designing and manufacturing a full range of dental implants, treatment software and digital dentistry solutions for 40 years, developing solutions to help provide superior clinical results.
Territory Manager:
As a Territory Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the customer base within your designated region. You will be responsible for managing relationships once onboarded, but with the focus remaining on generating new business partnerships. Your efforts will contribute to growing the business and ensuring long-term partnerships in both direct and indirect sales channels. The position requires consistent follow-up on leads, tracking sales performance, and meeting/exceeding sales targets, connecting with customers daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and new customer acquisition within your assigned territory, focusing on growing market share.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with dental practices, clinics, and medical professionals to ensure continuous business growth.
- Manage both direct and indirect sales channels, including establishing new partnerships and maintaining existing ones.
- Provide product training and education to dental professionals, assisting with product demonstrations and consultations to ensure optimal product understanding.
- Participate in key trade shows, events and network with industry professionals, staying current on industry trends.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales reports, and CRM entries to track sales progress and activities.
- Regularly assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and product adoption.
- Stay informed on competitor products and industry advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the dental industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of dental products and the medical device industry; experience selling dental implants, surgical equipment, or related devices is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to address customer needs and overcome challenges efficiently.
- Ability to work independently, handle irregular work hours, and demonstrate flexibility as needed.
- A valid driver’s license is required, as well as the ability to travel extensively within your designated territory.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
