You will collaborate closely with biologists and lab automation specialists to operate liquid handlers and analytical instruments, driving efficient and reliable molecular production pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement process automation and optimization requirements.
- Operate advanced lab automation systems with liquid handlers to produce and purify proteins at high capacity.
- Develop and refine automated processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes.
- Troubleshoot molecular production and analytical workflows, providing expert support to ensure seamless operations.
- Document and communicate automation strategies, protocols, and results to foster knowledge sharing and best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field; PhD is beneficial.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in molecular biology and cell culture (mammalian and microbial) within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
- At least 1 year of experience operating automated liquid handlers.
- Strong background in biochemical molecular analysis and designing biological assays and chemical processes.
- Proficient in molecular biology analytical techniques (gel electrophoresis, DNA quantification, HPLC, plate readers, CE-SDS).
- Familiarity with LIMS and ELN.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and passion for biotechnology and drug development.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
