Job Summary:
The Cafe Supervisors help run the high volume and fast paced Castle Dome Cafe. Ensure guests receive quick and courteous services while developing teamwork among staff to ensure a positive work environment.
The Details:
Season Dates: ASAP - 12/4/2024
Pay: $16.60/hr
Housing/Meals: Complimentary - Single Status Housing
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- To commit food specification to memory and to follow-up and ensure that staff members learn and adhere to those specifications.
- To develop team work among the staff and ensure a positive work environment by building employee morale through motivation.
- To ensure that guests are greeted immediately and that all food and service issues are handled expediently and courteously.
- To direct the staff toward the goal of maximizing guest service.
- To maintain clean and sanitary service and dining areas through example and staff direction.
- To develop an open two-way line of communication between the staff and other managers.
- To develop department work schedule and make shift changes for employees, as needed.
- To train and follow-up with staff that proper food preparation procedures are followed.
- Seeing that all closing duties are completed and inspect and initial each time card.
- To promote menu knowledge and suggestive selling among the staff.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant lead, supervisory and/or management experience required.
- Ability to absorb and retain a large amount of information.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time.
