We are currently seeking a Corporate Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) System Administrator. This exciting new role will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth operation of the EHS department’s computer systems by managing software updates, user access, system performance, and metrics report development and distribution. The position also coordinates with IT and third-party partners to identify and resolve technical issues; acting as the primary caretaker of the EHS department’s system infrastructure.

We are currently seeking a Corporate Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) System Administrator. This exciting new role will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth operation of the EHS department’s computer systems by managing software updates, user access, system performance, and metrics report development and distribution. The position also coordinates with IT and third-party partners to identify and resolve technical issues; acting as the primary caretaker of the EHS department’s system infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support EHS teams in selection, implementation, and training for new departmental systems and associated modules and functionalities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for third-party software as a service (SaaS) vendors.
- Support EHS team needs with data collection, tracking, uploads, exports, dashboards, and metrics report design.
- Work in partnership with company IT teams to set up and configure EHS hardware and software on servers, workstations, and network devices. Perform regular updates, patching, and security scans to maintain system integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to software, hardware, and integrations.
- Create, manage, and assign user accounts and permissions on systems.
- Design and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, training, and other procedures.
- Track system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and potential issues.
- Manage compliance to data privacy standards and network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Assess future system needs and planning for upgrades or hardware replacements.
- Support the EHS department with other duties as assigned.
- Five years of professional experience with operational support systems.
- Strong understanding of EHS operating systems, such as risk management information systems, environmental management data systems, security incident reporting systems, etc.
- Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and find effective solutions.
- Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and data management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships by positively interacting with coworkers, clients, industry groups, and consultants.
- Ability to stay current with emerging EHS technologies and adapt to changing system environments.
- Proactive problem solver who goes beyond minimum expectations to implement system improvements that add value.
- Passion for the safety and security of people and for the environment.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office365 suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems.
- Five years of experience working with EHS-specific technology systems such as risk management information systems (ex. Origami Risk), greenhouse gas accounting (ex. Optera), event detection and notification (ex. Dataminr), safety and incident management (ex. Omnigo), access control (ex. Salto), security and camera systems (ex. Genetec, exacqVision), or similar systems.
- Project management experience, including managing outside contractors, managing project budgets, and developing contracts and scopes of work.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Working knowledge of safety, security, public health, environmental, and climate regulations and standards.
- Passion for national parks and public lands.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
