As part of our Engineering and Maintenance team for 2-3 months, you’ll soak in the park's natural beauty and provide legendary hospitality to our guests in this extraordinary setting.

Job Summary
The Engineering Maintenance team is responsible for opening properties prior to guest arrival, maintenance and repair during the season and closing properties at the end of the season.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates:August 2024 - Early November 2024
Pay:$19.00 - $20.75
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial laundry equipment and the associated building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Account for materials used and time spent for job completion.
- Maintain a cooperative work environment within the laundry plant.
Qualifications
Laundry Maintenance Technician II
- Have the mechanical and electrical aptitude required to complete common maintenance and repair tasks.
- Be proficient in the operation and use of common mechanical and electrical tools.
- Have a general knowledge of OSHA requirements and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Be able to read, understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Be capable of and willing to advance his or her laundry equipment knowledge and expertise through on-the-job training and self-study.
- Be agreeable and willing to accept occasional shift-work assignments.
Laundry Maintenance Technician I
- Must have mastered the skills and knowledge required of a Laundry Maintenance Technician II and have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience maintaining industrial laundry or industrial process / manufacturing equipment of a similar scale and complexity.
- Be knowledgeable of and have experience conforming to OSHA safety requirements.
- Be capable and willing to mentor and train less experienced Maintenance Technicians.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in confined areas.
- Must be able to work in areas with hot temperatures ranging from 80 to 120 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment and be willing to wear hearing protection.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights of up to 10 feet off the ground.
- Must be able to differentiate colors required for boiler water testing.
- Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must possess physical stamina and condition to be continuously active including walking, bending, crawling, and lifting overhead throughout an eight-hour shift
