Job Summary:
The Park-wide Paint Crew Foreman is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the paint crew's operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality work while maintaining safety standards and compliance with regulations. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for coordinating with other departments, managing equipment and materials, and maintaining accurate records of work performed and crew timekeeping in various management systems.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the Park Wide Paint Crew, including employee interviewing and hiring and conducting all required performance evaluations and HIGS.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling and implementing the workload, materials procurement and equipment for interior and exterior painting tasks park-wide.
- Organize and maintain park wide paint specifications.
- Ensure any paint related Condition Assessment of Formal Inspection deficiencies are corrected.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and security of all assigned equipment and tools.
- Ensure quality and professional work and ensuring the proper training is conducted for the individual crew members.
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all current related codes and regulations.
- Follow all Lead and Asbestos protocols as well as conducting minimal Lead testing utilizing XRF system.
- Coordinate tasks with Engineering, park-wide trade personnel, location operations, campground management, and maintenance managers.
- Responsible for proper and accurate documentation of all work performed, separated by labor and materials.
- Ensure that a minimum of 80% of the crew’s on the clock time is accounted for in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Responsible for all crew record keeping in the timekeeping/benefit systems.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a paint crew foreman, 5 years professional painter experience or equivalent.
- Must be proficient in supervising personnel in accordance with all Xanterra policies and procedures.
- Must be proficient in the operation and safe use of all painting equipment common to the trade.
- Must be able to efficiently schedule tasks to ensure timely arrival of materials and equipment and effective use of personnel.
- Knowledgeable about historic structures and the various coatings and historic fabric repairs.
- Must have competent-person training in scaffolding and man-lifts or the ability to achieve this designation
- General knowledge of OSHA Fall Protection, Lead and Asbestos awareness programs.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a current, valid, driver’s license with a good driving record.
Physical Requirements include:
- This position will require the use of respiratory protection, compliance with applicable regulations and to be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Must possess physical stamina to withstand heavy labor related to work in an outside environment.
- Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and crawl for extended periods of time as required.
