Job Summary:
This role involves ensuring efficient guest service while representing the company positively and maintaining professional communication with various departments and the National Park Service. Responsibilities include coordinating vehicle maintenance, completing reports, training employees, scheduling shifts, and upholding high performance standards and workplace safety. Additionally, the role may require assisting with driving and guiding duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain efficient and high-quality service for all guests
- Act as a positive ambassador for the company at all times
- Communicate effectively with other departments and the National Park Service
- Oversee the maintenance of departmental vehicles in collaboration with service centers and mechanics
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports, including payroll and fuel documentation
- Train staff on policies and procedures while efficiently scheduling employees to optimize performance
- Uphold high employee performance standards, conduct performance reviews, and document employee progress
- Foster a safe work environment free from discrimination and harassment, while assisting with various roles as needed, such as driving and guest services
- At least 21 years of age and have a valid Class B, Type 1, Commercial Driver License with Passenger endorsement
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Knowledge of company and departmental policies is essential
- Applicants who have worked at least one season as a Driver-guide are preferred
- Able to supervise personnel and perform employee performance evaluations as required
- Basic clerical and computer skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Effective communication through speech and hearing
- Intuition in problem solving
- Familiarity with Yellowstone National Park
Physical Requirements include:
- Must meet all DOT physical requirements and pass a DOT physical exam
- Able to bend, twist and lift up to 50lbs simultaneously and repeatedly
- Able to work outdoors in variable weather (to include rain, sleet, snow, direct sunlight, high winds and temperatures from –60° to 100° Fahrenheit)
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
