Job Summary :
The park-wide Electrician is a full-time, year-round position and is based out of Mammoth Hot Springs. This position is responsible for overseeing the proper operation, testing, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems in Xanterra-assigned facilities including industrial, commercial, and residential systems. Schedule : Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days / per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Assist with opening / closing of park wide Xanterra facilities to ensure proper procedures are followed and provide on-call assistance as neededPerform, track, and report work associated with corrective and preventive maintenance of structures and equipment, using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and work order logsUse the appropriate tools and materials needed for the completion of work orders in a safe and efficient mannerDeveloping and providing electrical safety training for seasonal electricians and all maintenance personnelReview capital project electrical designs and construction drawings for code compliance, operability, maintainability, and cost effectivenessCoordinate with location maintenance storekeepers and the Maintenance Purchasing Agent to ensure appropriate inventory levels of electrical parts and supplies are established, maintained, and accurately captured in the company's CMMSAssist in the development, periodic review and continuous improvement of PM's and proceduresEnsure electrical installations, repairs and replacements accomplished by Xanterra staff or electrical contractors meet applicable electrical codes, NPS compliance, and best practicesSelf-motivated, able to work independently with limited supervision, and willing to occasionally work overtime and / or nights.Qualifications
Hold a valid Journeyman, Master Electrician, or Electrical Contractor license.Exhibit expertise in the interpretation and practical application of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Advanced electrical and mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by previous employment, education, or hobbiesAbility to mentor and train less experienced Maintenance staffInnovation, professional curiosity, patience, and tenacity when faced with new or perplexing issuesBe receptive to training and be able to quickly acquire new skills and knowledgeBasic computer skillsFlexibility to adjust to new situations or changes in assignments or proceduresA working knowledge of applicable NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standards, including the ability to recognize and correct unsafe work practices or equipment installations which do not meet CodePhysical Requirements include :
