Job Summary:
As a Barista at Xavier Artisan, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. You will work alongside a collaborative team of baristas and bistro staff, preparing a variety of coffee drinks and assisting with food prep. Customer interaction is a central part of the role, and you must be comfortable with both cash and credit transactions. You will be using state-of-the-art European equipment that is sure to impress.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, upbeat attitude.
- Provide exceptional, friendly customer service.
- Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately.
- Stock pastries, cookies, and other items for sale, and restock as needed.
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso and non-espresso drinks, especially during busy hours.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in your workstation.
- Be flexible and work as part of a team to ensure the job gets done.
- Must be able to work 4 - 8 hour shifts.
