RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation and Strategy:
- Write creative copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action, varying voice, style, and other characteristics as needed
- Interpret creative briefs and produce creative content from concepts to execution, conducting research to understand client's needs and target audiences
- Write and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials, collaborating with client service managers, strategists, and creative staff on timelines, resources, and execution
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team and clients, participating in client pitches as needed
- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to regulatory standards and requirements for successful submissions, following best practices for annotations
- Identify and process permissions for copyrighted material reproduction
- Participate in regulatory responsibilities to gain asset approvals
Project Management:
- Use company project management and communication software effectively
- Attend job-related meetings and incorporate client feedback to address it
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload and short turnaround times
Industry Knowledge and Research:
- Stay informed on client-related industry trends and maintain consistency in messaging by following style guidelines and brand voice
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Science, or a related discipline
- 3 years of experience in promotional, marketing, or medical copywriting
- Exceptional writing and research skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Strong time management, prioritizing, and organizing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with standard software: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred:
- 10 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work; Healthcare/Life Sciences experience
