Job Description
Xavier University, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructors in Accountancy on a rolling basis. This role presents a unique opportunity for Ph.D. students and professionals to gain valuable teaching experience, or to give back to the Xavier community by sharing their expertise. This role offers a salary of $2,025 for a 3-credit hour course. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester basis.
Candidates must be dedicated to graduate or undergraduate teaching and demonstrate excellence in their field. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Candidates should possess a terminal degree in the area of the teaching assignment.
- OR, candidates should possess a master's degree in Business Administration or a primary business discipline such as Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems / Technology, Management, or Marketing with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate coursework in accounting plus a minimum of three years of professional experience in the area related to their teaching assignment.
- OR, individuals with significant experience or expertise in a specific course subject may be considered for faculty positions even if they do not meet the academic degree requirements.
