We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Operations Specialist to ensure production excellence for our cutting-edge rowing technology products. In this role, you will oversee and streamline our production processes, implement robust quality control systems, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize operations. Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Lead and coordinate production activities, ensuring that all processes—from initial parts procurement to final product delivery—meet our precision quality standards.
- Quality Assurance & Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and continually refine quality assurance and inspection protocols. Collaborate to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency.
- Vendor & Inventory Coordination: Utilize MRP systems to manage vendor relationships, track inventory levels, and plan production schedules, ensuring a seamless flow of materials and timely delivery of components.
- Issue Resolution: Oversee troubleshooting efforts for production challenges, proactively addressing issues related to procured parts or process inefficiencies to minimize downtime.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure operational strategies align with overall business objectives and customer expectations.
- Order Fulfillment Oversight: Supervise the logistics of order fulfillment, including packaging, labeling, and shipping coordination, to guarantee a smooth transition from production to delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production operations, ideally within a high-tech environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex production schedules and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in project management and process optimization, with a keen eye for identifying areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and clear reporting.
- Familiarity with MRP systems and other digital tools used in inventory and production management.
