Description :

Production Oversight : Manage daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met and production targets are achieved.
Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization : Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Quality Control : Ensure products meet quality standards through regular in-process inspections and adherence to quality control protocols.
Resource Management : Coordinate with scheduling, purchasing and material handling to ensure adequate supply of materials, equipment, and tools needed for production.
Safety Compliance : Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety audits, and addressing any hazards.
Reporting : Prepare and present production reports, highlighting performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., materials, product management, quality assurance) to ensure seamless operations and communication.
Training and Development : Identify training needs and coordinate programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Reports to : Operations / Plant Manager

Full time, exempt.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

3-years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Proficient in ERP, Payroll Software as well as Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Occasional weekend work possible.
