Designer (contract)

Join our dynamic team where you will be responsible for creating, updating, and revising sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using GIS software or manual drafting methods to fulfill customer needs. You will prepare both 2D and 3D models while ensuring a deep understanding of detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications. Working under the guidance of a supervisor, you will collaborate with project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff to complete assignments. This role requires proficiency in drafting techniques, engineering concepts, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and revise sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using GIS software or manual drafting methods.
• Develop 2D and 3D models based on customer requirements.
• Interpret detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
• Collaborate with project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff to complete assignments.
• Utilize drafting techniques and understand engineering concepts and terminology.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare documentation to support design drawings.
• Generate bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals.
