Job Description

Summary/objective:

Primary responsibility is to produce precision racing components in a quality, team-based culture.

Essential functions:

• Operates CNC Wire EDMs, Automatic Hone, and Automatic Surface Grinder
• Use various types of measuring devices to hold micron tolerances
• Makes machine adjustments to ensure blueprint specifications are met
• Inspects each part to ensure quality and verifies to blueprints
• Follows all safety regulations and maintains a clean work environment
• Meets daily production requirements
• Communicates well with Team Leads and peers regarding jobs, programs, and maintenance

Requirements:

• Solid attendance record, values punctuality and reliability
• Familiar with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to learn how to read and understand engineered drawings to meet accurate manufacturing tolerances
• Willing to learn CNC machine controls
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic math skills

Physical demands and work environment:

Communicate job-related information verbally and sometimes in writing. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds multiple times per day. Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, bend at the waist, lift above the head, reach, and pull.

3rd shift, hours 5:30 p.m.-6:00 a.m.
