Xcelerate Solution is seeking you as our next TS/SCI cleared Appian Software Integrator / Low Code Developer SME supporting DIA-NMEC under our 10-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. You will work closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations Engineering/Manager on a broad scope of activities extending across the development of systems to include backend and frontend software engineering tasks.  Have impact as part of a mission focused, solutions oriented, and adaptive team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional development. While most work is conducted on-site at our client location in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule and, occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely. Percentage of remote work will vary based on client requirements/deliverables. Responsibilities:

• • Work with software and system engineers to design and develop workflow applications and system integrations.
  • Work with a team of system integration engineers to successfully deploy release candidates to production environment.
  • Participate in test, staging, and production deployment.
  • Develop plug-ins using languages such as Java or Python.
  • Assist in the maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline which includes Kafka, Elasticsearch, and several in house written python/java micro services running on Kubernetes
  • Integrate Docker containers using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm and other DevOpsSec integration tools
  • Monitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and components
  • Manage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration with the different team members in the goal of providing quality service and product to our customer

Minimum Requirements:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
•  Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
• Must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Pol
• Experience with Appian or other low-code software technologie
• Experience developing plug-ins in languages such as Java or Python
• Experience with PostgreSQ
• Experience with Appian Self-Assembling Interface Layer (SAIL
• Experience with containerization, especially with Docke
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially Gitlab or Jenkin
• Experience with authentication/authorization architecture
• Experience with Agile practice
• Possess or can obtain security certifications for PUA per DoD 8570 policy (e.g., Security and an approved computing environment certificate
• Development and/or scripting experience, especially Python and Bash
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic with the ability to work well on a team and a self-starter who can work on their own

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with systems at scale
• Experience with or knowledge of NMEC applications (e.g., Storefront, Harmony)
• Experience with systems at scale
• Kafka or other message passing systems
• Experience on a production/ enterprise system
• Cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience with any of the following technologies:
  • Kubernetes monitoring, e.g., Prometheus/Graphana
  • GraphQL
  • SALT for deployment automation
  • ELK or Splunk, specifically admin experience
  • Helm and Helmfile
  • Keycloak
