Intel Background Investigator
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Full Time Intel Background Investigator, you will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. Clearance:
Active Top Secret
Responsibilities:
- Review background investigation documentation packet for inconsistencies, errors, omissions, or falsifications for all assignments
- Conduct personal interviews, record checks, and prepare clear, concise reports based on the FIS
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written means
- Adhere to assignment deadlines while obtaining sufficient investigative coverage
- Balance and prioritize workload, understand and interpret policies and procedures
- Interact with Program team members to ensure timely and thorough investigations
- Perform additional functions as needed to achieve business objectives
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age.
- Active Top-Secret clearance or higher
- Prior completion of an approved NTS Background Investigator course is required
- Personal vehicle or other reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record preferred
- Ability to conduct interviews in-person and be able to travel up to 75% of the time
- Level III - 3 year of specialized Federal background investigative experience within the least five (5) years conducting in person interviews/record checks for SUBJECTs, Sources, and Providers. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish Speaking, multilingual is preferred
- Level IV - 5 year of specialized Federal background investigative experience within the least five (5) years conducting in person interviews/record checks for SUBJECTs, Sources, and Providers. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
