Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Task Order Project Manager you will lead a critical project for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. You will be responsible for the overall success of the project, including project planning, execution, and monitoring. This role requires a strong leader with excellent project management skills, a deep understand of the DoD, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:
- Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order.
- Work with the Government Contracting Officer (KO) and Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
- Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
- Ensure project alignment with project strategic goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including project staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with all project stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Develop and implement risk management plans and strategies.
- Monitor and report on risk status and mitigation efforts.
- Track and monitor project performance against established metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and submit regular project status reports to the client and senior management.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or four (4) additional years of experience.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience performing TOPM activities.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience with OCONUS Contingency Contracting Application(s).
- Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.).
- Proficiency in basic analytical software such as Microsoft Excel and Access, and proficiency with the Microsoft suite, to include Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project Management.
