Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This position will be responsible for reviewing and fulfilling customer orders through a thorough examination of all documentation and collaborating with customers to obtain any missing information.
The ideal candidate will be a dependable, self-starter, who possesses strong communication and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
This is a remote work-from-home position; however, the contractor must be authorized to work in the U.S. and must reside in Maryland as monthly travel (see below) to the office is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry with exceptional accuracy.
- Work with customers and clients via email and phone to obtain any missing information needed for order fulfillment.
- Review customer orders and verify data, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Address order inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Attend regular status meetings to review workload and upcoming priorities (via MS Teams).
- Attend monthly, in person order review meetings at our Windsor Mill, MD office.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry and/or similar operational roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Compensation
- Compensation for this position is $25.00 per completed order. All orders must meet the required specifications and will typically take about an hour to complete.
Work Hours
- This position offers flexible scheduling, but candidates must ensure consistent and responsive communication with clients and must attend regularly scheduled team meetings.
Training/Onboarding
- Selected candidates will be required to attend an in person training at our Windsor Mill, MD office and will be compensated at $25.00/hour during the training period.
All offers are contingent on the candidate successfully passing a comprehensive drug screening and background check.
