As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be able to drive research and analysis for geospatial intelligence data in support of the National Geospatial Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. As an essential member of our team, you will ensure the efficient execution of critical tasks, and help to drive high-impact, strategic decisions. Your work will involve leveraging machine learning, AI, and natural language processing to clean, explore, analyze, and mine data, which will produce actionable intelligence that directly supports our nation’s defense efforts.

Requirements:
- BA (or higher) in math or science related field
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass CI Polygraph
- 10 years of experience in data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, and data mining
- Expertise in manipulating and structuring data using PostgreSQL, ORACLE, and SQL to ensure accurate formatting, quality, and structure for analysis
- Proficiency in analyzing both structured and unstructured data sources to create predictive models and algorithms using tools such as Visual Basic, R, Python, or SQL/NoSQL
- Visualization skills with tools like ArcGIS, SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, or Tableau
- Knowledge/experience using Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI) methods to produce actionable insights from data for better understanding and decision-making
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing to liberate analysts to focus on critical projects
- Experience building and maintaining databases to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance
