Job Title: Systems Analyst 3 – PeopleSoft Financials Business Analyst
Project Duration: June 2, 2025 – August 31, 2025
Location: 4601 W. Guadalupe, Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid: 4 days remote / 1 day onsite – Wednesdays)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT (Evening/weekend work may be required occasionally with pre-approval)
Pay Rate: $80/hour

Residency Requirement: Must currently reside in Texas – no relocation or out-of-state applicants accepted.
- Serve as the lead Business Analyst for a PeopleSoft FSCM upgrade project
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Lead review sessions and present functional findings
- Create and maintain comprehensive functional documents, test cases/scripts, and training guides
- Perform end-to-end system integration and external interface testing
- Support multiple testing cycles and work with technical teams to resolve issues
- Use Microsoft Teams for daily communication and document collaboration
- Estimate task timelines, set realistic deadlines, and provide timely status updates
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft FSCM implementations or upgrades
- Strong expertise in at least one module: eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Asset Management
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, or Supplier Contracts (as backup support)
- Proven experience in conducting requirement workshops and creating formal documentation
- Experience with system integration and external interface testing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Teams for collaborative communication
- Experience working in the public sector (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- Knowledge of CAPPS Financials (Texas Comptroller's PeopleSoft system)
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft AWE (Approval Workflow Engine)
- Working knowledge of SharePoint
- Experience using Jira for task tracking
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with STAT for PeopleSoft change management
- This is a hybrid role; candidate must work onsite in Austin, TX every Wednesday
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed and pre-approved
