We are hiring a painter!

Competitive pay - $60,000 annually - potential bonus eligibility

Job responsibilities

• Properly mix paint colors
• Use specialty painting techniques on the vehicle
• Prepare, blend and finish vehicle surfaces
• Manage and control materials and inventory
• Remove dirt and debris from vehicles
• Perform sanding, buffing, polishing, or retouching vehicles to prepare vehicle surface
• Taping and covering vehicle parts efficiently and with extreme precision does not require painting
• Prepare vehicles for primer and paint application
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work on vehicles for extended periods of time
• Work alongside the paint prep team to assist in keeping the vehicle on schedule
• Inspect final prep and paint application
  
  

Requirements

• Prior experience working with paint processes
• Ability to perform small repairs on vehicles such as dings, scratches, and minor repairs
• Experience with wet sand and buffing
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods of time
• Able to use hand power tools
• Withstand exposure to fumes and dust
• Strong attention to detail
• Work in a fast-paced environment
