Overview
I am an RN that is opening a new Med Spa, seeking a highly qualified and experienced Medical Director to lead our clinical team and oversee the delivery of high-quality medical care. The ideal candidate must be a licensed physician responsible for overseeing all medical procedures performed at the med spa. This includes ensuring that staff members are adequately trained and that the spa complies with health nd safety regulations while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Clinical oversight: Supervising all medical procedures, such as Botox injections, weight loss treatments and IV hydration. (Only 3 services I'm starting out with until the business grows.)
- Staff training and supervision: providing training and ongoing supervision to practitioners, ensuring they are competent in performing various treatments and using medical devices safely.

Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital environment. medical treatments and procedures, ensuring consistency and safety in service delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the med spa complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, staying current with legal requirements, and making necessary operational adjustments.
- Patient Consultations: Consulting on complex cases or new clients to determine the most appropriate treatment plans, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Business Strategy Participation: Participating in strategic planning for the med spa, including decisions on services offered, technology investments, and business growth strategies.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience managing medical records.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
