Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze blueprints, project documents, and site surveys.
- Collaborate with project managers to align budgets and timelines.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Maintain cost databases and prepare reports for management and clients.
- Assess risks, propose solutions, and track budget changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 10 years of construction estimating experience in a general contractor setting.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and costs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
