Financial Controller Responsibilities Are
- Review and organize the entire stack of company's accounting operations : Billing, A / R, A / P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, GL and Counsel
- Review existing technical accounting issues and develop measures to optimize them
- Create and document business processes and accounting policies to optimize internal controls
- Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and and prepare reports on the results
- Oversee company's month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Create timely monthly financial statements and present them to company's executives and top managers
- Ensure the compliance with state reporting requirements, applicable laws and tax filings
