Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries or concerns.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining organized displays.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Support team members by supervising daily operations as needed.
- Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate pricing and transactions.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems is highly desirable.
