Country Finance Manager - Australia

How you’ll make an impact You will bring your strong financial, analytical and communication skills to become the go-to expert on all things finance for Australia. You will be the key owner of the planning, forecasting, analysis and internal reporting of the country’s financial performance. You will help ensure resources are effectively aligned to drive performance, provide a clear view and understanding of results and produce insights into likely future performance. You will use your robust financial skills along with your highly honed communication style to effectively support the Australia Leadership team. What you’ll do Planning/Forecasting (Expense & SaaS revenue) You will work with the Global Revenue Operations team, Sales Operations and Global Finance to inform the revenue planning and forecasting process and allocation of CAC targets within Country. You will then partner with the country leadership team to drive the AU annual planning process, making sure there is a realistic connection between the annual plan and trends, investment and resourcing levels. Throughout the year you will monitor progress/performance against forecasts to highlight risks and opportunities and will present thoughtful recommendations to the AU Leadership team on how to refine and optimise the annual plan via the quarterly reforecast process.  This will require you to be a proficient user of our newly implemented revenue planning / consolidation tool Anaplan and our established reporting tool, Adaptive.  Reporting,  Analysis and Recommendation (Expense & revenue) Own the creation and refinement  of the monthly reporting package, and present findings and insights to various levels within the organization ( country team, regional, finance reviews, etc). Provide thoughtful action recommendations to address any material variances from the plan. Business Partnering Develop strong working relationships with the country leaders/stakeholders, key contributors within the country,  regional and global functions so that you may effectively inform, advise, and challenge.  Primary Finance Contact for the country You will be the “go -to” person for all things finance for the country leader and leadership team. You will develop a broad understanding of the global finance function and build key relationships so that you can help the country team interface effectively with the global finance function. Additionally, you will act as the finance lead on any in-country programs  with material financial impact such as employee benefits strategy planning.  Country Finance Functional Ownership: Expense planning/tracking lead While your primary responsibility will be delivering the country’s financial planning and performance, you will also have responsibility to operationalize the country level processes for managing expenses.
