Provide deal admin, accounting and internal control support to the XBS ESI/XIT organizations. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal control requirements.
Responsibilities
- Uses best practices and knowledge of business issues to improve processes.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective to identify solutions.
- Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
- Validate order requests against contractual agreements and all required approvals and/or documents (ie. Purchase Orders, etc.)
- Ensure all orders conform to policies & meet revenue recognition criteria. Coordinate with sales, finance, partners, and other stakeholders when revisions are required and/or approvals are necessary
- Ensure all sales orders are processed and scheduled within SLA upon receipt of order request
- Provide cross functional operational support to sales, ISSR team, billing, AR, and purchasing on daily activities. Will work with vendors and leasing companies as needed to assist as well.
- Maintain proactive communication with Sales, Finance, Operations and Management on any urgent orders/exceptions
- Assist in the ongoing documentation of ordering procedures, including analyzing gaps within the order entry processes, participating in the development of new processes or techniques to resolve problems and prevent their reoccurrence
- Maintain focus, processing throughput, and professional composure in a fast-paced environment, especially during high-volume periods at quarter end & month end
- Strong PC skills – significant use of Excel
- Previous experience in ordering/sales operations or inside sales or equivalent preferred
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition
- Ability to read and understand various agreements/documents to extract relevant data
- Well-organized, detail oriented, eager to learn
- Exceptional communication & critical thinking skills
- Previous Salesforce experience is preferred
- Complete tasks within deadlines – may require extended hours during month end close
- Communicate issues to management timely
- Continuous process improvement skills
- Able to prioritize tasks and multitask
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be a team player, have a positive attitude and can work well under pressure
