Experienced Welder
An Experienced Welder is responsible for fabrication and welding of frames for large industrial HVAC equipment under some supervision. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and schedule adherence. This person may be tasked with training a lower-level welder as needed.
Job Duties:
· Champions safety procedures and adheres to them strictly.
· Performs welding tasks under minimal supervision.
· Assists in the fabrication and welding of HVAC equipment.
· Handles tools and equipment with guidance.
· Responsible for cleaning work areas and maintaining equipment.
· Adheres to all quality procedures.
· Assists higher-level welders as required.
· Assists in training lower-level welders as needed.
· Maintains foundational skills in HVAC welding.
· Participates actively in on-the-job- training programs.
· Actively listens to instruction from higher level personnel.
· Communicates all needs and questions clearly and concisely with leadership.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent, certification or degree in welding preferred
· Previous experience in welding.
· Proficiency using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
· Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
· Physical stamina and ability to perform job functions.

Vertical mig weld test conducted during the interview process so please come prepared for test with proper clothing, and PPE. With COVID precautions, we prefer you bring your own helmet for the weld test.
