General Summary: Provide electrical experience and leadership in product wiring, troubleshooting, and testing. First shift, 40-50hrs a week with a 4-10s option, pay range based on experience. Journeyman or Master Electrician License is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics, as well as follow check out procedures.
· Background in HVAC controls, DDC, or BAS, is a plus.
· Mentoring other electricians and technicians about good electrical practice and work ethic.
· Hands on experience with final testing and the ability to independently conduct operational tests on air handling units.
· Working with project engineers to complete projects and provide insight to scheduling efforts.
· Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects.
· High level of analytical ability required.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
· Ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
· Troubleshooting and electrical testing.
· Possible panel building.
· Sizing conduit and wire.
· Terminating and properly torquing conductors in electrical/HVAC components.
· Using power tools and electrical hand tools.
· Internal wiring of HVAC equipment.
· Proper use and knowledge of PPE.
Total compensation, when hired as a full-time employee, will consist of wage, 401K, health care, personal safety equipment and PTO.
