Master Electrician
The Master Electrician will support production processes by assisting with electrical assembly and troubleshooting of HVAC units. This role will assist in the maintenance of the building and act as a subject matter expert to anything regarding electrical systems. This role leverages electrical experience to assist leadership with decision making.
Master Electrician Duties and Responsibilities :
Champions safety.
Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics, as well as follow check out procedures.
Background in HVAC controls, DDC, or BAS, is a plus.
Mentoring other electricians and technicians about good electrical practice and work ethic.
Hands-on experience with final testing and the ability to independently conduct operational tests on air handling units.
Working with project engineers to complete projects and provide insight to scheduling efforts.
Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
Troubleshooting and electrical testing.
Possible panel building.
Sizing conduit and wire.
Terminating and properly torquing conductors in electrical / HVAC components.
Using power tools and electrical hand tools.
Internal wiring of HVAC equipment.
Proper use and knowledge of PPE.
Master Electrician Qualifications :
Master Electrician License.
At least 5 years of experience with Electrical troubleshooting, installation, and testing.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Clear and concise communication to team members.
Ability to coach team members on performance issues.
High level of analytical ability required.
