Description:
Responsible for the overall implementation of the Intensive Prevention Services program and the delivery of quality services to children and youth ages 10-19.
Responsible for monitoring the programs budget, and for providing direct supervision and evaluation of Counselors, Case Managers, Youth Mentors, and Activity Consultants.
Oversee and manage the Out of School contract and ensure its compliance for the Elementary and Middle School models.
Requirements:- Oversee and manage the Intensive Prevention Services Contract.
- Develop and Review program policies and procedures with staff throughout the contract term.
- Plan, develop and Implement strategies for training and evaluation of all Program Staff.
- Oversight correct data entry into a DHS database and the organization ETO Software Database, to ensure tracking of cases and interdepartmental referrals and timely follow-up.
- Perform monitoring and evaluation of service delivery and functions.
- Establish and implement necessary communication strategies for quality improvement to the program.
- Observe professional confidentiality procedures about the families that are receiving services.
- Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management.
- Provide culturally sensitive services by using staff that are knowledgeable about the ethnic and racial diversity of the family center's clients.
- Establish quality service partnerships and collaborations with local organizations, schools, public entities.
- Provide support to the case management staff in developing the Goal Assessment/Service Plan and consult regularly with program staff about the progress of the plan's implementation.
- Develop and monitor safety procedures to ensure that program participants are safe at all times.
- To prevent, correct modify, and/or alleviate specific causes of health, education, or social obstacles to the children and youth growth and development.
- Ensure proper filing procedures for program cases.
- Oversee the Out-of-School Site-Directors and assume compliance with the service contract.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in human services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or related field of study.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Strong Leadership and supervisory skills.
- Commitment to the Organization's mission.
- Ability to lead and to motivate others.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
