This internship program offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and duties within HR Operations, HR Business Partnering, and Talent Acquisition (TA). As an HR Intern, you will be exposed to the inner workings of our HR department and have the chance to contribute to initiatives that impact our entire organization.
This is a 10-week program beginning June 18, 2025, and ending August 27, 2025. This will be a part-time (up to 29 hours/week maximum) with the potential to go full-time in the future role.
What does this position pay?
The hourly compensation for this role is $20.00 for undergraduate students and $21.00 for graduate students.

As a key member of our HR team, you’ll have the chance to gain valuable experience in the following areas:
Administrative & Records Management
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with members of the HR team. You should possess a strong understanding of communication, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects. You will be expected to take ownership of your responsibilities, exercise sound judgment, and ensure attention to detail in all HR-related tasks.

Administrative & Records Management
- Ensure the accurate and timely management of electronic employee records for all XiFin employees, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Be an integral part of our Welcome Team, assisting with new hire paperwork and helping to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Assist with scheduling interviews, sending confirmations, and preparing interview materials, acting as a backup when needed.
- Collaborate with the Director HR Business Partnering on the job description finalization project, helping with a company-wide initiative to align job titles across all business units.
- Work alongside the HR Operations team to enhance the AskHR platform, improving AI's understanding of our product, policies, and procedures.
- Lead and organize events for interns, fostering team-building and networking opportunities.

What education and experience do you need?
A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management is a plus.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations is a plus.
