About the Role

As the Lead Frontend Engineer at XILO, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the front-end development of our platform. Your primary focus will be improving the health and scalability of our Angular codebase, implementing modular architecture, and ensuring that our front-end is maintainable and performant. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of high-quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve and maintain the health of the Angular front-end codebase using the latest versions of Angular.
• Design and implement modular, scalable, and reusable front-end components.
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Plan and prioritize front-end tasks two sprints ahead of development.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce best practices and maintain code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers, helping them grow into mid-level and senior roles.
• Debug and resolve front-end performance issues and architectural bottlenecks.
• Drive adoption of new Angular features and tools to improve overall development velocity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in Angular (latest versions) and modern front-end development.
• Strong understanding of modular design and reusable components in a SaaS environment.
• Proven ability to mentor and train engineers in clean, maintainable code practices.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality front-end solutions.
