As our Account Manager, you will be a key member of our Business Development team. You’ll gain an in-depth
understanding of the service we offer and the needs of the customers we serve. You will focus on lead qualification and establishing early stage opportunities using a variety of inbound and outbound methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to grow into a Sr. Account Manager role and ultimately manage all aspects of the customer relationship.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new accounts and engage with potential new customers using various methods for outreach and
engagement including social selling, phone, and email
Respond to inbound inquiries generated by website content and marketing campaignsDevelop and maintain knowledge of the XiltriX solution, services, industries and workflowsConduct qualifying conversations with target prospects in a consultative approach over the phone to determine business needs, budget, and timelineProvide software demonstrations and sales presentations to potential clientsMeet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and KPIsSupport execution of Marketing campaigns as part of a cross-functional teamDiligent documentation of all activities in CRM (HubSpot)Meet with prospects and customers at networking events, conferences and site meetingsAssist sales & marketing in gathering intelligence on accounts and prospective buyers using online research toolsLeverage internal and external training resources to develop and expand your business development skillsParticipate in regular Marketing and Sales meetingsAssist with promotion and execution of company eventsQualifications
3 years of experience in a sales role breaking into new accounts and building relationshipsExperience selling SaaS and / or technical services to the life sciences industryExperience, exposure, or skills with consultative sellingAble to explain complicated topics simply and with targeted messaging.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and monthly goalsComfortable with cold calling, inbound and outbound prospecting effortsExperience working longer B2B sales cyclesStrong understanding of the Sales process and procedures, including experience in engaging with customers and nurturing relationshipsExperience and understanding with qualifying leads and follow-upPositive, self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and meet aggressive team goals, as well as personal quotasAbility to work both independently and within a collaborative team structureHighly organized with critical attention to detailsBachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in science or businessStrong functional use of Google Office (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)Accurately record / submit sales calls activities, expense reports, and written reportsFluency in English, both written and verbal is essential. Knowledge of Spanish is a plusCompensation : Account Manager : $70,000 to $100,000 per year based on experience and qualifications
plus an uncapped commission based on individual sales. OTE for the Account Manager is $150k .
